Wonderful kitten sale

We have some darling “fall crop” kittens at the shelter right now, with more coming in from foster care very soon. Most of these kittens were home-raised by our dedicated and loving foster folks and come to the shelter fully socialized and vetted.

If you have been waiting for the holidays to get a kitten, please know that we might not still have younger kittens available.

But the best news is that we are having a great kitten sale! Saturday, Nov. 4, all kittens six months and less will be just $50 each, or even better, two for $75. Cats are a lot more social than some people realize, and often enjoy the company of other kitties, especially kittens.

So come on down on Saturday and find your next best kitty friend!

New dogs in town

We just got five wonderful new dogs into the shelter from our partners that rescue them from overcrowded or high-kill shelters.

Meet Tanner, Dalton, Leslie and Antonia! Tanner is an itty bitty blond Chihuahua mix — very sweet and cuter than cute. Dalton is a tiny black Chihuahua mix who is very wiggly and delighted when people stop by his cage to say “hi.” Leslie is a darling little black terrier mix and is a little shy but warms up very quickly.

Antonia is what might be called a “pocket pittie.” She is an extremely sweet blue pittie mix who only weighs about 40 pounds. If you go to meet her, it obvious very quickly that she is a “people person” kind of girl. Antonia is only about a year old, and still has that “puppy look” about her — all wiggles and soft kisses.

All these new guys will have to be vetted before adoption, but hey, if you are interested in bringing a new dog into your heart and home, it never hurts to come and look…
