Letters of Thanks for Nov. 1, 2017

Published on November 1, 2017 3:18PM

On behalf of WellSpring Community Network, I want to thank the Rotary Club of SW Washington for their generous donation. Their support helps sustain and grow our efforts into the future.

Since our founding in 2006, WellSpring has worked to improve the lives of youth and families in South Pacific County. Now as a 501c3 non-profit, we continue to be a hub for networking and collaboration, as well as a leader in fostering positive youth development and improved systems change.

The heart of our mission is building community, and it’s organizations like Rotary that make our community great. Thank you for your support and donation!

Thank you Pacific County Fire District 1

I would like to give a huge shout out to the EMS division of Fire District 1, Ocean Park. In early October 2017 a great friend and neighbor of mine had a serious medical event and lost consciousness in my dining room. I called 911 requesting help. The person answering the 911 call was calm and patient, gathering the needed information and making sure I would call back if she again lost consciousness or stopped breathing. The ambulance and fire truck arrived in under five minutes, which is more rapid response than I experienced in the “big city” before moving here. The EMT team (Cory Bardonski, Matt Beaulauier and Matthew Keefer) were superb and efficient, gathering information while providing emergency care. As a community, we are incredibly lucky to have a well trained team who respond rapidly and with care. Thank you.

Friends of Chinook School wishes to thank the community for another successful “Oktoberfest.” Thank you to our generous donors and thanks to all of our faithful supporters who purchase those donationss. Our annual fundraiser has helped in the rehabilitation and restoration of our community buildings and now it will assist in their maintenance and operation for community use. You are appreciated. We are grateful.
