To the Beach Barons:

Cub Pack 29 sends you a huge thank you for your continued support of our annual Pine wood Derby. In addition to serving us a fantastic breakfast, we greatly appreciated the trophies and gift packs of souvenir T-shirts, hats and Frisbees. Fun was had by all.

Thanks to our community for participating in the llwaco Timberland Library Knitfiti event. To all who donated yarn, thank you so much for clearing out your stashes. To all who came in Saturday mornings to knit/crochet/braid/wrap and spin, thank you for sharing your crafting skills and joining up with our fiber arts workshops (folk from under 8 to over 80 years old participated!) To all who came in for ideas and/or materials and worked on their own, including Boys & Girls Club, we appreciate your efforts and were happy to have your artwork return to the library and be installed. Come visit Knitfiti (yarn graffiti) — all projects are on display through April. It’s a very cozy/fuzzy feeling library this month!

The Beach Barons Car club would like to thank the following Peninsula Businesses for their support of our annual Easter Egg Hunt: Jack’s Country Store, Okie’s Thriftway, Sid’s IGA, North Beach Tavern, Candyman, Cottage Bakery, The Peninsula Moose Lodge, Scoopers, Belk’s Plumbing & Contracting, Blue Dolphin Thrift Store, American Century Trophy Shop and The Bank of The Pacific. Also, thank you for the private donations made in support of our event.

Our Easter Egg Hunt was a great success and we could not have done it without the support of local businesses and others.
