Flute and harpsichord concert in O’ville

OYSTERVILLE — Musicians Beverly Stafford (flute) and Geri Ethen (harpsichord) of Portland will be bringing “Musical Pearls to Oysterville” on Sunday, July 16. Their program will feature pieces by four prominent Baroque composers of France, Italy, and Germany. Officiating at the Music Vesper service will be the Reverend Dick Loop of St. Peter Episcopal Church, Seaview, and for the traditional “Oysterville Moment,” Nyel Stevens will tell the story of the village cannon. The service begins at 3 p.m. at the iconic 1892 church in the Oysterville National Historic District.
