OYSTERVILLE — They’re back! Lyrica Ladies Ensemble of Puget Sound returns to the Oysterville Church on Sunday, Aug. 19, for the 3 p.m. music vespers service.
The chorale has been coming to the Peninsula to perform since 2001. Of particular interest to local residents is that Lyrica’s founder/director LeeAnn Campos was a 1981 graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, where she studied with Barbara Poulshock, who is often referred to as the “Peninsula’s Living Treasure.”
Officiating Sunday will be Pastor Don Mower of the Family Worship Center in Ocean Park.
Also, on the program will be Susan Holway, who will present the “Oysterville Moment” and John Balmer serving as organist for the congregational hymn-singing.
