Wreck slows traffic on SR4

Published on November 14, 2017 4:43PM

A traffic accident partially blocked State Route 4 Tuesday morning on the curves just west of the Grays River bridge. Members of the wrecker crew said that as they were working on getting the loader back up on the road the driver complained of pain in the area of his collar bone and was transported to the hospital in Longview. The truck cab reportedly tipped over but stayed on the road. The flatbed trailer was transporting a loader owned by Jerry DeBriae Logging. The loader came off the flatbed and rolled down the hill lodging against trees on its top. Travel on SR4 was down to one lane and occasionally closed as efforts were underway to raise the loader.
