Tressa J. “T.J.” Walker

PENINSULA — On June 16, 2017, TJ died at home after a short battle with metastatic and pulmonary carcinoma squamous cancer. She was born Nov. 21, 1939.

She worked her entire life, almost 50 years as a bartender or waitress. She made many friends that remember her well — a lot even called her mom.

She is survived by James, her husband of 26 years at home; her mother, Ruth; several cousins and an uncle all of Yakima, Wash. Area; a daughter, Connie, in North Carolina; sons, Ricky of Hazel Dell, Wash., and Walter of LaCenter, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandkids. Several family members including a daughter, Natalie of Vancouver and a granddaughter, Ashley, of North Carolina, preceded her in death. She was cremated and no local celebration of life is planned.
