VANCOUVER — Marian Esther Spanner, 82, died June 25, 2018, in Vancouver, Wash.
She was born Nov. 8, 1935, in Denver, Colo., to Frank and Esther (Reeves) Brezina. Marian was a 52-year breast cancer survivor who lost her left arm at 46 years old due to cancer. She loved people, traveling, flowers and spending time with friends, and volunteered as a lunch buddy. She was married to Gerald Joseph Spanner, a former teacher and coach at Ilwaco High School. Marian is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gerald; three children and three great-grandchildren.
