PENINSULA — The kick off for “Christmas in July” Peninsula Toys for Kids was a great success! A special thank you to our sponsors for the event: Chinook Observer, Pacific County Fire District No. 1, Long Beach Elks Lodge, Sid’s IGA Market, Jack’s Country Store, Okie’s Thriftway, Cottage Bakery. This could not have happened without all of the wonderful volunteers, a few who are pictured are: Jamie Meling, Gary Cottrell as Santa, Natalie Hanson and Lani Karvia, holding her grandson, Warren.
