LONG BEACH — The Arcora Foundation SmileMobile, which travels the state offering dental services to children and pregnant women, will be in Long Beach from Nov. 1 through Nov. 3 and again Nov. 6 through Nov. 10.
The service is for those who might not otherwise have access to dental care. They accept Apple Health and offer a sliding scale fee based on family income and size.

The SmileMobile will be parked at the Long Beach Head Start and provide dental examinations to children from birth up through high school and pregnant women on and treatment appointments will be scheduled at the time of the examination. In March, the SmileMobile dental team provided the following services to children and pregnant women in Ilwaco, Long Beach and Ocean Park: 142 exams, 119 fluoride varnishes, 257 sealant and 46 fillings.
The SmileMobile is operated by Arcora Foundation, a non-profit organization created and partially funded by Delta Dental of Washington in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital.
