NOTICE OF APPLICATION SHORELINE MANAGEMENT SUBSTANTIAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT AND SEPA DETERMINATION OF NON-SIGNIFICANCE Case No (s): P1700686 Description of Proposal: The property owner is propos-ing to construct a 60 foot long x 10 foot wide x 3.5 foot tall shoreline armoring rock wall in order to protect an existing 1,040 square foot shop/warehouse building. The property owner will be utilizing approximately 130 cubic yards of rip rap and 1 foot minus pit run rock for fill material to stabilize the shoreline along the Bay Center slough. A Critical Area and Resource Lands Variance and Shoreline Management Substantial Development Permit will be required prior to construction. An Army Corps of Engineers permit will also be required for construction of the proposed project. Proponent(s): Lodestone Permits (applicant) on behalf of Gregory & Barbara Staats (owner) Location of Proposal: The property is located at 01 2nd Street Bay Center, Washington. The County Assessor’s Par-cel number includes 13100824072; located in Section 08, Township 13 North, Range 10 West of W.M. Lead Agency: Pacific County Department of Community Development. The lead agency for this proposal has determined that it does not have a probable significant ad-verse impact on the environment. An environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required under RCW 43.21C.030 (2)(c). This decision was made after review of a completed environmental checklist and other information on file with the lead agency. This information is available to the public on request. This DNS is issued under WAC 197-11-340 (2); the lead agency will not act on this proposal for 14 days from the date below. Comments must be submitted for the SEPA Determination of Non-Significance by January 4th, 2018.
