CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION
Conditional use permit application for a change of use from residential to a bed and breakfast
Notice is hereby provided in accordance with IMC 15.08.110, which stipulates that the City of Ilwaco hold a public hearing for the conditional use permit application initiated by applicant Linda Bell. Per IMC 15.08.170 conditional use permit applications require a Planning Commission recommendation with the final decision subject to the authority of City Council. In accordance with these requirements, a planning commission meeting for the conditional use permit application will be held on September 4, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Ilwaco Community Building. In addition, the Ilwaco City Council will conduct a public hearing on September 10, 2018 at 6 p.m. at the Ilwaco Community Building. The requested conditional use permit seeks to change the use of an existing residential building located in the R-1 zoning district to a bed and breakfast, which based on City land use regulations is a prohibited use unless determined as a permitted use via the conditional use permit process (IMC 15.44.010.B). The property in question is located at 211 Pearl Avenue SE in Ilwaco, Washington 98624; parcel number 73001003404. The project is located in the R-1 zoning district, requires a conditional use permit and is SEPA exempt per WAC 197-11-800.6.b.i. Project information can be found on file at Ilwaco City Hall, 120 First Avenue North, Ilwaco, Washington 98624. Citizens may provide written or oral comments at the hearing. Members of the public who are not able to attend can submit certified letters before the public hearing.
