LONG BEACH — Peninsula Youth Sports Football division has a home jamboree that hosts 10 teams or more. This year they had four games for each grade level team, hosting Banks, Knappa, Rainier, Astoria and other nearby rivals.

There is a jamboree every weekend in a different town. The third and fourth grade team played Knappa this year and won, as did the Peninsula fifth and sixth grade team. The teams will play a scrimmage during half-time at the high school game on Oct. 13. It’s always loads of fun for the little guys.
