NASELLE — Holly Disch had 13 kills and just one error on 23 hits, leading the Comets to a 25-22, 25-8, 25-23 win over Columbia Adventist on senior night, Tuesday, Oct. 17. Michelle Carter, the only Comet senior, was in the starting lineup and recorded an ace and two assists.

Naselle stumbled a bit early, but put together a 12-0 run during the second set with Hailey Weston setting. Weston landed all her serves and all her hits in-bounds, recording six kills and four digs.

Lily Harman also had a perfect serving day and led the team with 12 digs. Sophie Scrabeck had seven kills and seven digs. Taylor Gudmundson had 20 assists and six kills.


Farm Foundation falls


Naselle beat Firm Foundation Christian in Battleground 25-16, 25-21, 20-25, 25-17 on Thursday, Oct. 16. Holly Disch had 17 kills, Sophie Scrabeck added 13, Taylor Gudmundson recorded 12 digs and 30 assists, and Lily Harman contributed 27 digs.
