Gudmundsen named league volleyball MVP

Naselle Comet volleyball setter Taylor Gudmundsen has been named Columbia Valley League co-MVP, sharing the honor with Bailee Williams-Wallace of Three Rivers Christian. Gudmundsen racked up 229 assists, 42 kills, 51 digs, and 48 aces in the regular season, and helped the Comets to a 7-1 record in league play. Naselle’s Holly Disch, Lily Harman, Hailey Weston and Kenzie Glenn were all named All League. Disch had 147 kills for an outstanding .374 hitting percentage. Harman, the libero, had 161 digs and was among the top 40 in the state in serving aces, as was Disch. Weston notched 63 kills and 70 digs, and Glenn added 47 kills.
