Kristi Raffelson homered in both games of a double-header as Ocosta beat Ilwaco 18-0 and 23-1 in Westport Monday Apr. 9.

The defending league champions routed Ilwaco in the opener with ten runs in the first and eight in the second, resulting in a game that went just two and a half innings. Lillyan Barnum went 3 for 3 with a double and a home run to go along with Raffelson’s sixth homer of the year.

In the nightcap, Ilwaco took the Wildcats to five innings. Jaymi Kemmer held Ocosta scoreless in the first inning. The Fishermen scored in the bottom of the inning to lead 1-0. Ocosta led 8-1 after three, then pulled away for eight runs in the fourth and seven in the fifth. Raffelson went 4 for 5 with her seventh home run of the season.
