LONG BEACH - The Ilwaco Sports Boosters annual Crab Feed will be Saturday, Jan. 14 from noon to 8 p.m. at the Long Beach Elks Lodge.

The menu will again feature delicious Dungeness crab caught fresh from the Pacific with many of the crunchy crustaceans donated by local fishermen. Also on the menu will be home-made cole slaw and fresh garlic bread. Hot dogs will also be available. Pepsi products, water, beer, wine and coffee will be served. The cost is $12.50 for adults, $10.50 for seniors, and for children 6 to 12, $7.50. There will be a two-crab limit, but extra crab are available for $6.

All proceeds will go to help Ilwaco Junior and High School students and will augment school programs with funding that is not provided by the school district. Such things as scholarships for "pay to play" and special equipment and uniform needs are among the items the Boosters have supplied in the past.

Anyone with questions may call Mick DeSimone at 642-4584 or Mary Goelz at 642-4504 for more information.
