Annual Peninsula Quilt Guild show in Ilwaco March 14-16

LONG BEACH - "Fence Around My Garden" is the name given to this year's prize quilt that will be raffled off during the eighth annual Peninsula Quilt Guild show.

This year's show, titled, "Quilts on the Fence," will take place at the Ilwaco Heritage Museum on March 14 through 16. The raffle prize will be a "medallion" quilt created by three guild members. The center portion was hand appliqueed by Charlotte Gordon, hand quilting by Beverly Wakeman and machine quilting by Karen Snyder.

The show's chairperson is Randi O'Phelan, above. Hours for the show are, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The show is free to the public.

All funds raised as a result of the raffle are donated to local charities and museums. The show is sponsored by the Peninsula Quilt Guild and Anna Lena's Quilt Shop.
