PORTLAND - Novelist, historian, and publisher Matthew Stadler will speak at the Liberty Theater located at 1203 Commercial Street in Astoria on Friday, Feb. 24, at 7 p.m.

Following the lecture, the Oregon Council for the Humanities (OCH) will host a reception in the McTavish Room at the theater. OCH, in collaboration with the State Historic Preservation Office and the Bank of Astoria, invites the public to this free lecture commemorating the renovation of Astoria's historic Liberty Theater.
