PENINSULA - Hitting the beach in search of succulent razor clams can be a delicious proposition. But getting them from the sand to your plate can be an interesting journey for all parties involved.
Arriving at the beach Saturday, Vivian Koch and her husband Matthew of Scappoose, Ore. were in for a wet evening. With a stiff wind blowing from the south mixed with a sharp sea spray Vivian said, "You always bring a change of clothes."
