Carman live in concert

ILWACO — Sunday, June 10 at 4 p.m., one of Christian music’s most well-known artists is coming to Ilwaco. According to his press release, Carman is known for the largest ever concert attendance at Cowboy’s Stadium, selling 71,000 seats, and he has sold millions of CDs and DVDs, starred in the hit movie “The Champion,” and was named Billboard Magazine’s artist of the decade. This unique and powerful talent is coming to the Peninsula.

Carman is appearing at Pacific Bible Church (on the hill above Black Lake in Ilwaco). Admission is $10. Tickets are selling fast. Seating is limited, but all ticketholders are guaranteed seating. Hand Rose fashion show

OCEAN PARK — Peninsula Women of the Moose held their second annual Second Hand Rose Fashion Show, with models Jerre McDaniel, Diane Doyle, Ramona Pyle, Leah Gardner, Charlotte, Delores Rodregos, Carola Jacques, Alice Rodlin, Thelma Sembach, Anne Thoreson, Sallee Landoct, Joan Johansen and Linda Gilbert.

The WOM also held a welcome luncheon for 67 new members of the Lodge, followed by their fashion show.

The women would like to thank Peninsula Antiques, Styling, ReachOut Thrift Store, Blue Dolphin and the Senior Center for their generous contributions toward the event.
