Kite Museum

Kite Museum

If you love kites, you'll love the Long Beach World Kite Museum and Hall of Fame.

The museum, located next to a small city park at Pacific Avenue and North Fourth Street, was founded in 1990. It hosts the most representative collection of Japanese kites outside of Japan and a wide array of other kites and photos of kiting events. The museum was established to preserve and promote all aspects of world-wide kiting and to recognize noteworthy individuals for their outstanding contributions in kiting, with their countries or internationally.
