LONG BEACH - The Long Beach-Ilwaco Kiwanis group will be selling Christmas trees this year from Dec. 4 to Dec. 12, at the southeast corner of Sid Snyder Drive and Pacific Highway in Long Beach, across from the Bank of the Pacific.

The selection of trees will be priced between $20 and $40 except for those over 8-feet.

The trees will consist of Douglas firs, Grand firs and Grand Noble's. The trees will be cut fresh for the Dec. 4 opening.

The Kiwanis have sold Christmas trees as a fund-raiser for the past 30 years. Selling Christmas trees is their main fund-raiser, besides sharing the proceeds with our scouts. All funds are donated back to local organizations that benefit our Peninsula children, as Kiwanis is about the children of the world. Thank you for supporting our Christmas tree project.
