This Saturday: Fall and winter garden-planning workshop and plant clinic

Attend events this Saturday at Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum in Ilwaco for answers to all your gardening questions.

ILWACO — The WSU Master Gardeners of Pacific County, in partnership with the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum, are sponsoring the fourth and final gardening workshop for 2015 on Saturday, Oct. 17: “Plan, Plant, Prep, and Prune: Do’s, Don’ts and Shoulds for the Fall/Winter Gardens.”

Don’t put away your gardening gloves just yet! Master gardeners will help you develop an action plan in preparation for your 2016 Spring garden and landscape.

The workshop presentation begins at 10 a.m. After the workshop, attendees are invited to join a work party in the Museum Discovery Garden located behind the museum’s parking lot at 115 SE Lake Street. Come by for some education and fun at the museum.

Plant questions or problems? Ask a master gardener. The group will be sponsoring a plant clinic from 10 a.m. through 1 p.m. at the museum. If possible, bring samples of your plant problem. The workshop and plant clinic are free and open to the public.
