ILWACO - The Southwest Pacific County Peninsula Rotary Club is sponsoring an evening of art, music and hors d'oeuvres to ensure that less fortunate children have access to dental care in the community. The event is slated for Saturday, Oct. 23, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bell Tower Inn in Ilwaco, with net proceeds benefiting the children's dentistry program operated by Family Health Center's North Beach Clinic.
The gala evening will feature a silent and live auction showcasing the artwork of local artists. Guests will also enjoy live music, champagne and wine, fresh local oysters and an array of hors d'oeuvres. The event is limited to 120 guests, and attendees are encouraged to reserve their tickets early.
"This reception is an opportunity to enjoy an evening of 'Oysters & Art' while helping to ensure critical dental care is available to the children of our community," said Emily Brown, fundraising chair for the Southwest Pacific County Peninsula Rotary Club.
"Our mission is to help ensure the good health of our community, regardless of ability to pay," added Arlene Lavigne, medical manager for the North Beach Clinic. "The children's dentistry program will deliver needed dental care to the area's children."
Tickets are available for a $25 donation, with proceeds benefiting the dentistry program. Tickets are available from event chair and Rotary member Emily Brown.
