ILWACO The Pacific County Emergency Management Agency (PCEMA) is holding the annual Disaster Preparedness Fair on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ilwaco High School Gym - Hilltop Campus. This event is free and open to the public.
Preparedness Fair exhibitors will range from a wide variety of industries and organizations that relate to personal, home, and business preparedness and safety.
A hands-on fire suppression tutorial will be facilitated by the Ilwaco Volunteer Fire Department from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to suppress a real fire with an extinguisher. Children are welcome to participate.
Prepare to be a Hero posters created by Naselle, Long Beach and Ocean Park Elementary School students will be on display at the fair. Contest winners will be awarded at noon.
