CHINOOK — One of America’s greatest and most loved stories of all times is returning to the PAPA Theater at Fort Columbia in Chinook. Due to popular demand, the Peninsula Association of Performing Artists will perform “The Wizard of Oz” for a two-weekend engagement in November. No need to travel on the yellow brick road to the Emerald City to find the Wizard to grant your wish for show tickets.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.papatheater.org and at Okie’s Thriftway in Ocean Park, or in Long Beach at Sweet Celebrations. Ticket prices are $17 for adults and $5 for children 15 years and younger.

The production will run the weekends of Nov. 8, 9, 10 and 15, 16, 17. Show times are Friday evenings at 7 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m.

“The Wizard of Oz” has something for everyone of all ages, so come join the fun of celebrating the 75th Anniversary of “The Wizard of Oz.”
