School supplies to be distributed starting this week

<I>DAMIAN?MULINIX/Chinook Observer</I><BR>Observer staff members Jane Webb, Amanda Frink and Marlene Burrell have once again headed up a successful school supplies drive.

PENINSULA - School supplies will be distributed to low-income students enrolled in the Ocean Beach and Naselle-Grays River districts, as follows:

At the Chinook Observer office at 205 Bolstad Ave., Suite 2 in Long Beach: Wednesday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 642-8181 for more information.

At the Pacific County Fire District No. 1 fire hall at 26110 Ridge Road in Ocean Park on Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon; Thursday, Aug. 27 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, Aug. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 29 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Donations are still being accepted and can be dropped at the Chinook Observer office at 205 Bolstad Avenue East, Suite 2 in Long Beach, or mail donations to P.O. Box 427, Long Beach, WA 98631.
