People are drawn to ocean waves for reasons they can't explain. Perhaps it's the rhythmic churning of waters or constant renewal of whitecaps.

A favorite viewing spot is a cozy cove at the base of the towering Cape Disap-pointment bluffs called Waikiki. During storms, gigantic walls of sea water slam at the rocky, sheer cliffs.

Or watch from the heights of North Head Lighthouse, Cape D, or the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center.

Waves that grace our coast are nature's gifts that can be savored and shared.
