MILWAUKIE - Albert A. Kent, 84, died June 4, 2003. He was born March 26, 1919 in Westport, Ore.

His early years were spent in the Oregon City area where he also received his schooling. He served two years with the eighth Air Force in England during World War II.

Mr. Kent was a self-employed cabinet maker and spent several years in Long Beach with winter trips and stays in Mexico. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge of Long Beach.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel in 2000. Survivors include a sister Theresa Ferlan and a brother Francis Kent, along with several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were by Stehn's Milwaukie Funeral Home.
