SALEM, ORE. - Betty Ann Croften died June 11, 2006, at home in Salem.

She had lived on the Peninsula for many years and moved to Salem in 2005. She made many friends while working for the Portside Cafe in Ilwaco. She loved to cook and bake, play Bingo and help others in need.

She is survived by her life partner, Ken Filbeck; son Richard Dickson; daughter Tanya Dabney of Anchorage, Alaska; eight grandchildren whom she dearly loved; and by one brother and three sisters of Portland.

A memorial will be held in August, with a date to be announced. Cards or letters may be sent to Ken Filbert at 580 "E" Street N.E., Salem, OR 97301.
