PENINSULA - American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE), is a group of big-hearted motorcycle enthusiasts from Pacific County, Wahkiakum County, the Brownsmead area, Tillamook and Clatsop County. This fall, Washington Chapter 22 of ABATE dedicated their poker run to help support the opening of the Boys and Girls Club of the Long Beach Peninsula. Their generous donation of $800 not only harbors goodwill for our community youth, it brings closer the dream of opening the doors in 2009 a reality.
