OCEAN PARK - On Oct. 1, the C3 Design Center showroom moved to a new location at 1910 Bay Avenue in Ocean Park. It was previously located at 10502 Pacific Way in Long Beach.

C3 Design Director Michael Datoli says the new location is twice as big and in a very convenient spot for their clients.

When finished next month, customers will find samples of Sherwin-Williams paint, flooring, carpeting, tile, linoleum, countertops, Hunter Douglas window treatments, doors, mouldings, lighting, cabinets and hardware - or as Datoli says, "Everything from floor to ceiling."

Eventually, Datoli hopes to build a display kitchen in the showroom. C3 will also be an authorized Dish Satellite dealer.

C3 Design Center, owned by Ray Bowman, is the place for one-stop shopping for home or business remodeling and new construction projects. Drop in for personal services, such as knowledgeable sales people, estimating and design services, and consultations on design and installation.

Datoli is always searching for the newest, most innovative products and says C3 is "moving more and more towards green products," such as wool carpeting and environmentally friendly Marmoleum floor tiles. Building and home improvement questions are encouraged and welcomed, and a rack of magazines and photos of past C3 projects can help with inspiration.

Datoli says customers can expect to wait less and receive high quality customer service at C3. Employees take the time to perform thorough estimates and follow up on customers' questions. C3 was a 2008 Olympia Master Builders Remodeling Excellence Award recipient.

Future events include free workshops and seminars on building, landscaping, products and renovation options for realtors and homeowners. Drop in to check out their monthly sales on select items. An open house event is scheduled for sometime in February.

Until the showroom is complete, C3 Design Center is tentatively open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or by appointment. Call C3 at 642-4445.
