SEATTLE - The Thirteenth Coast Guard District launched its first podcast today to help provide the public with an up-to-date view on community events and missions conducted by the Coast Guard in the Pacific Northwest.

This outreach tool will allow the public and the Coast Guard family an extended, more intimate view of the events and happenings around the Thirteenth District.

The first podcast showcases the top five 2007 recorded rescues, the Coast Guard Cutter Steadfast drug interdiction, Coast Guard Auxiliary, Citizen's Action Network and remembering the tragic sinking of the Triumph I.
