ROSBURG SENIORS CLUB

ROSBURG — Each Wednesday at noon the Rosburg/Grays River/Naselle Seniors Club has a luncheon at the Rosburg Community Hall. Volunteers are always welcome! Lunch is just $4 for a wonderful meal. Come check them out! They have lots of fun events and great meals.

Wednesday, Jan. 19 — Chicken casserole, mixed vegetables, bread, dessert.

Wednesday, Jan. 26 — Pulled barbecue pork on hoagie roll, coleslaw, chips, dessert.

LONG BEACH — His Supper Table, at the corner of 13th N. and Pacific Highway in the Peninsula Nazarene Church, offers hot meals from 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., every Monday and Thursday. There is no charge for a meal but donations are gladly accepted. Local churches, businesses and individuals generously support this program. Call Tuesday through Saturday at 642-4105 if you have questions.

OCEAN PARK — From 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Monday, teams from Ocean Park Lutheran Church, Ocean Park United Methodist Church and Peninsula Baptist Church serve a free take-out hot meal for people of all ages at Ocean Park Lutheran Church, 24002  “U” Street in Ocean Park. Call 665-6344 for information. NOTE: Menu items can change without notice.

Monday, Jan. 24 — Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetable, fruit and a cookie.

Monday, Jan. 31 — Turkey gravy on mashed potatoes, salad, fruit and a cookie.

CCAP NUTRITION

Coast Community Action Program (CCAP) serves a hot lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at 152 1st Avenue in Ilwaco. There is no charge to anyone over 60. A suggested donation for those over 60 is $3.50. Cost to those under 60 is $6.50. Lunch includes a main dish, vegetable, side dish, salad, dessert and milk. If you are over 60, and unable to come to lunch, meals can be delivered to your home. Please call 642-4300 if you need this service.

Thursday, Jan. 20 — Split pea soup, cheese bread, tossed green salad, pumpkin squares.

Friday, Jan. 21 — Cook’s choice.

Monday, Jan. 24 — Salmon meatloaf, Mexican rice, seasoned zucchini, cabbage-carrot slaw, peaches.

Tuesday, Jan. 25 — Ham, egg and veggie omelet, blueberry muffin, apricots, orange juice.

Wednesday, Jan. 26 — Beef stew, cornbread, fruit salad, juice.
