Luke Gerow

Luke Gerow is a scholarship recipient.

RAYMOND — The Friends of Willapa National Wildlife is pleased to announce that Luke Gerow has received its $1,500 annual scholarship, which is awarded to a local graduating senior who plans to pursue a career in fish and wildlife management, environmental education, conservation, or a related field.

Luke, the son of Ken and Roxanne Gerow of Raymond, is a remarkable young man who recently graduated with honors from Willapa Valley High School. He will attend Grays Harbor Community College in the fall with a goal to work for Washington State Fish and Wildlife Enforcement. To that end he plans to seek a degree in Criminal Justice to “improve the safety of outdoorsmen and women and to carry out the laws that help preserve the lives of fish and wildlife.”

Congratulations to this outstanding graduate!
