PENINSULA — Local organizers of the Liberty Theater Gourmet Holiday Home Tour, including Penny Treat and Dian Barker-Sayce, relished the sunny day Sunday as a happy crowd of visitors toured homes and the Shelburne Inn from Surfside to Discovery Heights.

Designed to show people from Clatsop and Pacific counties some of the architectural treasures in our midst while raising funds for the theater, the tour also included treats from local restaurants, silent auction items to benefit the Peninsula Boys and Girls Club, and holiday gifts made and sold by local artisans and shops.

A steady stream of participants made their way from one end of the Peninsula to the other from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
