The Resiliency program is operated by Pacific County Public Health and Human Services. They recognize those who make a difference in our communities. Honored in September was South Bend's Labor Day Committee. Pictured left to right: Mayor Julie Struck and R2R Chair Tessa Clements. The Labor Day Committee works tirelessly every year to provide South Bend with the time-honored tradition of Labor Day festivities. They work hard to provide the community with family-friendly activities that fill a whole weekend. Committee members' work has created memories that last a lifetime and family traditions that span generations. The festivities bring back South Bend, Raymond and Willapa Valley alumni to the community yearly which benefits the area in too many ways to count. Their work provides resiliency to children, families and the community.
