Women of the Moose donate for homeless shelters

OCEAN PARK — The Women of the Moose recently held their Christmas Bazaar, chaired by long-time member Betty Patton, who will chair the event again in 2016. Patton recently presented a check in the amount of $300 from some of the proceeds to the Portable Homeless Shelters Huts for Hope. Pictured are Betty Patton, along with Jerad Nichols, Mike Rorda, Joe Walker and Conner from the Huts for Hope. The Women of the Moose are active on the Peninsula and hold various fundraising events to help local organizations and groups.
