VANCOUVER - Cora L. Fisher, 84, a former resident of Long Beach, died July 6, 2005, in Vancouver where she had resided the past five years.

Mrs. Fisher and her late husband, Floyd, lived on the Peninsula for over 20 years. He died in 1986. Survivors include sons, F. Craig and Monty Fisher; daughters, Jackie LaFlam and Sherrie VanKuiken; brothers David and Robert Thompson; sister Peggy Tovey; 12 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be Saturday, July 16, at 11 a.m., at Penttila's Chapel by The Sea in Long Beach. Fellow members of the Long Beach Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will conduct the service. Dedication of the grave follows at Ilwaco Cemetery. Viewing will be Friday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Penttila's Chapel.
