MONTESANO - The deadline for reporting 2003 crop acreages to the Farm Service Agency (FSA) is June 30.

According to Lyle Heimbigner, local director for FSA, the agency responsible for administering USDA farm programs, all farm operators or owners, regardless of current FSA program participation, can report crop acres to document cropping history. Reports are mandatory, however, for producers participating in certain federal programs.

Details on the program benefits can be obtained at (360) 249-5900.
