BREMERTON - Lois E. Thompson, 84, passed away on June 9, 2007, in Bremerton. She was born on Nov. 14, 1922, in Portland, Ore., one of eight children born to Lawrence and Ethel Holcomb.

The family moved to the Kelso area in 1929, and that is where she spent her younger years.

She married Obert Thompson in 1955 and a few years later they moved to the Vancouver area. He passed away in 1990 and shortly after, Mrs. Thompson moved to Ocean Park where she lived until May 2007.

Survivors include her four children: Roland "Sam" Holcomb and wife Linda of Silverdale, Roberta Davison of Portland, Dee Galbreath and husband Terry of Covington and Aaron Thompson of Vancouver; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Holcomb or Salem, Ore.; and a sister, Pat Lacy of Ocean Park. Her parents, husband and five siblings preceded her in death.

Private graveside services were held in Vancouver. Memorial contributions may be made to the Golden Sands Life Trail Wellness Park, 21608 "O" Lane, Ocean Park, WA 98640.
