Jan. 23 — At 6:42 p.m., someone reported a concern about people taking items from a residence where a resident had just died.

Jan. 25 — At 9:09 a residential theft from Ilwaco was reported.

A boat trailer was reported stolen at 4:22 p.m.

Jan. 23 — At 5:27 a.m., a suspicious person was reported near Menlo.

A burglary was reported 1:47 p.m.

A vicious dog was reported in Seaview at 2:39 p.m.

A domestic violence incident was reported in Naselle at 7:41 p.m., and both parties had been drinking.

At 8:15 p.m., a dog had been shot near Smith Creek.

Jan. 24 — An attempted burglary was reported at 8:29 a.m. According to the caller, a barbecue had been moved, a screen door taken off and there were pry-marks on the doorframe.

At 5:11 p.m., it was reported that a burglary had occurred at a North Cove residence. A window was broken, the door to the home open, numerous items were turned upside down, cupboard doors opened, and a box spring in the yard had been set on fire.

Criminal trespass was reported in Ocean Park at 7:05 p.m.

A burglary to a barn in Raymond was reported at 8:09 p.m.

Jan. 25 — A suspicious vehicle was reported in Raymond. The truck had Colorado plates and had been parked in the area all night, with the occupants making lots of noise and garbage was strewn everywhere around it.

Jan. 26 — A possible prowler was reported near North Cove at 12:42 a.m.

At 4:56 p.m., a suspicious white pickup with a black canopy was reported parked blocking a residential driveway in Nahcotta.

A four-wheeler and a three-wheeler were reported stolen from a Lebam location at 5:01 p.m.

Jan. 27 — The theft of a garbage can was reported at 9:57 a.m.

A possibly intoxicated driver was reported in Ocean Park at 10:23 a.m.

Vandalism to a pickup in Menlo was reported at 1:38 p.m.

Jan. 28 — A hammer was left at the scene of a vehicle prowl reported at 10:56 a.m. The window of the vehicle had been smashed.

At 7:54 p.m., a Seaview residence had been burglarized. According to the report, a window was broken, a bedroom had been gone through and prescription medications were taken.

A burglary to a vacation home in Ocean Park was reported at 9:04 p.m.

Jan. 29 — An assault was reported at 12:37 a.m., with the victim having been “punched, kicked and scratched.”

A prowler was reported on property in Ocean Park at 1:34 a.m.

At 11:41 a.m., a person wanted to report a neighbor “shooting gophers on his own property.”

Theft of an antique brass candelabra from a Seaview residence was reported at 3:16 p.m.
