LONG BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT Oct. 20 - At 10:27 a.m. a call was received regarding an elderly woman who had fallen and was having difficulty breathing. At 4:46 p.m. a man who had stolen beer from a business earlier in the day returned; he was delayed at the checkout counter. Oct. 21 - At 3:37 p.m., a call was received regarding an intoxicated female on a bicycle, verbally abusive, and making threats. Oct. 22 - A report of two boys seen shooting birds on the beach received at 2:26 p.m. At 5:10 p.m., a boy was bitten by a black dog. At 9:45 p.m., a report was taken regarding a male subject, possibly intoxicated, driving a van covered in decals. Oct. 23 - a traffic hazard; male riding a bicycle playing chicken with traffic, was reported at 11:42 p.m. There was a fight reported at the high school at 3:05 p.m. Oct. 24 - A call regarding threats was received at 10:44 a.m.; someone overheard a man saying he was going to blow something up. At 7:18 p.m., someone reported two females in a small car parked in caller's parking space who threatened to damage caller's car when she asked them to move. Oct. 25 - A male subject walked into the police department at 11:37 a.m. Stated he had taken some kind of pill and now doesn't feel well and believes he may have been poisoned. Oct. 26 - At 4:08 p.m. a brush fire was reported in the grass by the boardwalk. Several callers stated the fire involved the boardwalk itself. A case for vandalism was taken at 5:03 p.m.; teens were seen smashing a scooter, throwing it and yelling a lot.SHERIFF'S REPORTPACIFIC COUNTY Oct. 20, 2002 - At 1:36 a.m., someone from Ocean Park reported a suspicious person; a male was in the shadows of the home by the south door of the house. Someone from Tokeland reported a problem with her son at 9:52 a.m.; he is a signed runaway and now appears to be under the influence. A single vehicle rollover accident was reported at Klipsan Beach at 12:01 p.m. A bull mastiff was reported loose on the beach chasing people and foaming at the mouth at 2:11 p.m. A report of a possibly overdue boater was taken at 6:11 p.m. from Tokeland. In Naselle a fight in progress was reported at 10:39 p.m. At 11:05 p.m., someone from Ocean Park reported theft of medication from residence. Oct. 21 - An Old Willapa resident reported finding nails in her driveway again at 12:34 p.m. A case for domestic violence was taken at 3:14 p.m.; female caller advised husband was in the yard throwing items and spitting at her. Oct. 22 - A telephone harassment complaint was reported from Surfside at 8:20 a.m. At 11:18 a.m., some from Oysterville reported the theft of money, guns, and a coin collection. Someone on Stringtown Road reported he found an arrow shot into his residence plus one in the yard at 2:04 p.m. A large pile of trash with names and addresses in the garbage was found in Ocean Park at 5:02 p.m. At 10:13 p.m., someone called regarding a disorderly conduct case; an intoxicated individual was outside yelling at kids that were trying to get horse back into fence; possibly assaulted girlfriend and cut the fence so horse would get out. Oct. 23 - At 12:45 p.m., resident of Surfside reportedly left her purse on top of her vehicle and drove away. At 1:06 p.m., a purse was reported found in Surfside; finder attempted contact with person identified in purse with no response. A fire structure was reported in North Cove at 1:24 p.m. At 2:53 p.m., two subjects were reported trapped on the rocks on the south side of North Head.At 3:38 p.m., a blind person with a backpack and cane was reported walking north on Highway 103 near traffic. At 4:48 p.m., a case for disorderly conduct was taken in Long Beach; a female broken the window of a pickup by pulling on the partially open window. A Tides West resident reported a pit bull attacked their dog in their yard at 6:21 p.m. A burglary was reported in Oysterville at 8:49 p.m.; burglary apparently happened the night before - enamelware was taken. Oct. 24 - A medical emergency was taken at 12:15 a.m. in Klipsan Beach; a female had eaten wild mushrooms and became very sick. At 5:13 a.m., a Surfside resident reported hearing a women yelling for help. An assist with an attempt to locate was requested at 6:43 a.m.; an 85 year old man in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's left between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. to go to Astoria for gas and hasn't returned. A welfare check on a suicidal subject was requested at 9:13 a.m. Someone from Ocean Park reported receiving threats on his life at 10:03 a.m.; thinks the person who made threats walked by his house. An agency assistance was requested in Raymond at 11:49 a.m. in regards to two males in a fist fight. A vicious animal was reported in Surfside at 12:38 p.m.; caller's dog was attacked by neighbor's dog while walking with caller's 87 year old mother. At 11:22 a.m., someone from Ocean Park reported finding a bottle containing some sort of pills in a vehicle. At 11:54 a.m., someone on Stringtown Road reported criminal trespass; says bushes are being chainsawed. At 3:18 p.m., a suspicious circumstance was reported; caller wants police patrol due to problems with neighbor, possible theft and tampering with vehicle. A yellow/lime green mountain bike was stolen from Seaview at 7:19 p.m. A case for prowler was taken at 7:40 p.m. from Seaview; caller heard noises on the roof, smelled smoke but emphatically didn't want fire truck, however, believed the smell was incense. Oct. 25 - A domestic violence report was received from Ocean Park at 10:27 a.m.; man out of control. A two-car, non-blocking, possibly injury accident was reported at 11:14 a.m. in Seaview. A burglary was reported at 3:25 p.m.; shades of home up, door open and home has been ransacked. A suspicious circumstance was reported at 5:53 p.m.; several people at a summer residence taking bags of items out of the residence; neighbor doesn't recognize any of the people. A traffic hazard was reported at 10:43 p.m.; a disabled vehicle with a missing wheel in the area of Alternate 101. At 11:30 p.m. a burglary in progress was reported; suspect seen running from the scene wearing white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, carrying a white plastic bag. Oct. 26 - A disorderly/intoxicated individual was reported at 2:07 a.m. A wanted person was reported in custody at 11:50 a.m. A utility problem was reported at 3:25 p.m.; some type of lines or wires are hanging down. At 7:43 p.m., someone reported two loud sounds, like gunshots, right together; caller unable to see anything. At 8:16 p.m., criminal trespass was reported; a door was kicked in, phone lines pulled, and bathroom door was kicked in.
