Raymond - After many years of residing at 408 Second St., Raymond, the Pacific County Economic Development Council (PCEDC) has secured a new home at 530 Commercial Street in Raymond.

Like many businesses throughout Pacific County, the PCEDC's office received substantial water damage and they had to make an unexpected move. For the last five months they found a temporary home at the Courthouse Annex. During this time, business was as usual, their phone numbers and e-mail addresses remained the same, causing very little disruption to the PCEDC's service.

"In our time of need, so many individuals in the community stepped up and helped us move. I would like to thank my board, the Dennis Company, and Pacific County for their help," EDC Director Cathy Russ said. "Things would not have gone so smoothly without them."

They are in the process of getting settled, but as they said, "the PCEDC is always ready to provide a wealth of information for our businesses of Pacific County.

The Pacific County Economic Development Council is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to retain and encourage a diversified economy that sustains and enhances the regional economy.
