Notice is hereby given that Energy Northwest invites sealed bids for the performance of the clearing of three (3) forested areas for the placement of temporary meteorological towers. The work will be performed in Pacific County, Washington with the nearest town being Naselle, Washington. Details are contained in the Invitation for Bid entitled:

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be conducted August 20th, 2007 at 10 AM. The location of the pre-bid meeting shall be _ mile north of the junction of Hwy 101 and 4 in Pacific County, with the nearest town being Naselle, Washington. The purpose of this mandatory pre-bid meeting will be to assure that bidders fully understand the bid requirements and to provide bidders an opportunity to ask questions and or provide comments. Following this pre-bid meeting an addendum may be issued to incorporate comment and answers to questions from the pre-bid meeting.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or by Certified or Cashier's Check as a bid deposit in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount.

All bids must be sealed and filed with Energy Northwest at the MPF Facility, 3000 George Washington Way, Mail Drop 1040, Richland, WA 99354 at or before 3:00 P.M., Pacific Standard Time, August 28, 2007. The bids will be publicly opened and read at that time.

Energy Northwest reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities therein.
