NASELLE - The Naselle chapter of ESA held their 35th annual senior citizens dinner in the basement of the Assembly of God Church. There were about 75 dinners served to the seniors and ESA members.

The dinner began 35 years ago as a dinner for persons over 70 years of age, according to Pat Vernon, but in later years, it has been opened to younger senior citizens. Marilee Wirkkala and Donna Tyyska were the members in charge of this year's dinner. Alice Houck, the only charter member left in the club, was in charge of door prizes.

Dorothy Hill and Pastor Barbara Bate of the Grays River Methodist Church each recited the grace message. Entertainment was provided by pianist Tiara Wirkkala.
