OCEAN?PARK — The students from Mrs. Jacobsen’s sixth grade class got a glimpse of the glamour that awaits them on future prom nights last Friday as they delighted in their first formal dance.

The students dressed the part, whether it was a ball gown or dress, a button shirt or a suit. They were photographed under an archway and were served a three-course meal, prepared by parents and staff, before hitting the dance floor — or gym floor as it were.
