OCEAN PARK - The Friends of the Ilwaco-Ocean Park Libraries are in need of a facility to store and sort books between the two book sales each year. The current facility, which has been graciously donated by Annebelle Savage for the past eight years, has been sold.

The space must be dry and have electricity; heat would be a bonus. It should be a ground space at least the size of a one car garage so tables can be set up to sort and boxes of books can be stacked. The Friends' preference is to have the location between north Long Beach and Surfside, however, they would consider elsewhere. If you have a space that you are willing to donate, contact Chris Jacobsen at 642-8843 or Sandy Stonebreaker at 665-4816.

The Friends sponsor two book sales each year - on Memorial and Labor Day weekends; generally at the Ocean Park Library. All proceeds from these two sales go directly to the support of the Ilwaco and Ocean Park Libraries. The group is a 501C-3 non profit corporation and all donations are tax-deductible.
