The Peninsula Assembly of God Church in Ocean Park will be hosting their third annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 27.

A complete turkey dinner will be served without charge to anyone in the community who would like to attend. The only requirement is to reserve a place for yourself or family by contacting the church in order to assure that enough food is prepared.

There will be two sessions during the day, at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., with seating for 100 people per session. People will need to reserve their spot as soon as possible - over half of the first session is already full and close to same for the second.

"We do it simply to say thank-you to the community and as an outreach," said Pastor Dwayne LaPointe. "We know that there's a lot of people who can't afford the meal or don't have family, so we just open it up."
